The RnB Edits on Wolf + Lamb Black

The tradition of the DJ edit goes back to the disco days and has always been a powerful tool for studio adept DJs to breath new life into an old track or make a favorite more powerful on the dancefloor. For us edits started out as a way to make our mixtapes more interesting and then progressed to a full on creative outlet to make versions of our favorite classics into contemporary expressions for the party. With this, our 3rd edit release on Wolf + Lamb Black we went in a different direction, instead turning our scissors to some R&B favorites with results we never could have imagined. Now to celebrate the success of the EP we're giving away the deepest of the 3 tracks, "Dreams of Tomorrow", check it on the left.

Double Standard Brings The Vinyl Revolution

"Double Standard Records is the next chapter for Gadi Mizrahi - founder and one half of the visionary Wolf + Lamb project. A vinyl only odyssey into revolutionary body-moving music, the first release features the talent of Gadi himself and fellow conspirators, Soul Clap." We call it the "Joint Custody EP" and it marks our first official release with our close friend and mentor. For us, Double Standard signals a move back to the vinyl format for our releases (we've got 7 vinyls coming out by the end of the summer) and our DJ sets. Wolf + Lamb Black Label 001 - The Soul Clap Edits

We are proud to announce the forthcoming release of our Love Light and Conscious Edits on Wolf + Lamb's new Black Label imprint. We're honored to kick off the label with a limited edition run of only 400 vinyls due June '09. A tremendous amount of buzz and excitement has been generated for this release, following an inclusion in Wolf + Lamb's Ibiza Voice podcast and a WMC debut by Lee Curtiss at the Get Physical's Bongolina sunset party and by Seth Troxler opening the outdoor area of this years Sunday School for Degenerates.

Puppy Crack 12" + Extraction US CD

The last 2 weeks have seen not 1, but 2 new Soul Clap musics released into the world on our home away from home, AirDrop Records. First and foremost is what we think is the label's crowning achievement so far, the Extraction US compilation. We are honored to have our Astrotufing track on this compilation that also features contributions from some of the United State's best and upcoming house and techno talent and was featured in renowned German dance mag Raveline as well as on RA. Now, hot on the heels of the compilation comes our brand new Puppy Crack EP on 12" vinyl. The release features 3 tracks, the title tune, a Mikael Stavöstrand remix and our Beat The Puppy DJ tool and features the vocal stylings of none other than The Face aka our favorite Boston techno DJ, Mr. Sergio Santos.

New Soulclap 12" Goes Quack

Our second vinyl single is called "die Ente", which means "duck" in German and it includes a remix by Dirty Bird/Mothership/Freerange artist and fellow Bostonian Tanner Ross. It's out now on AirDrop Records out of New York City and is already getting beat up by Italoboyz (check the video here) and Claude Von Stroke loves the remix. People keep asking us why we like animals so much and we tell them, it's not like that, it's just how the tracks sound. Quuuuuack! Check out more Soulclap releases.
