Soul Clap was established in 2002 as a collaboration between two Boston-based DJs who share a common goal to: educate, share, create and consult using the power of great music. We specialize in boutique DJ services and custom musical environments for clients that understand that good taste can travel great distances and good design is not just graphic. By understanding our client's identity we develop and implement the perfect musical atmosphere to make people listen and remember.
Our experience combined with a deep knowledge of music, understanding of the latest trends and high quality service has led to projects with top hospitality, fashion and media brands. Unlike tacky, out-of-touch mobile DJs or one-dimensional, unprofessional club DJs, Soul Clap bridges the gap between style and substance, creating a design and music hybrid unlike anything you've ever heard before.

Ms Thang
Musically inclined from an early age, Beth Ladew aka Ms Thang has been steadily expanding her resume over the past 4 years as a full-time working DJ. She first developed an interest in the craft as a teenager, as many of her male peers were
getting their feet wet, spinning local house parties and collecting vinyl. It would be another few years, however before Beth purchased her own set of turntables and began to learn the basics of mixing and setting the mood. Her signature style is a well rounded mix of old and new, with an emphasis on reading the crowd and creating the appropriate vibe at the right time. After tireless hard work honing her technique, Beth has earned the respect of her peers for her versatility and mixing ability, effortlessly jumping between several genres in a night. Although open to any musical style, her passions are classics, house music, new disco, funk, reggae and old-school hip-hop. Always a crowd pleaser in clubs and at private events alike, Ms Thang's name is recognized as Boston's DJ with something for everyone.
